Meetings, career counseling and international activities

Through structured programs, you will be able to develop your soft skills, to deepen interdisciplinary education areas and make contact with professionals from all around the job market. All this is JUMP (Job-University Matching Project), an educational path built to provide you with a complete personal and professional training.

In your Hall of Residence you will have many occasions of personally meeting prominent figures from the cultural, corporate and academic worlds.

You will also have placement opportunities and the possibility to engage in international experiences.

JUMP Job-University Matching Project

JUMP is the interdisciplinary educational program offered to residents and to other university students in the city.

It helps students complete their university curriculum and develop soft skills, connecting their present university experience with their future professional life.

It is a pathway that integrates academic knowledge with the content and dynamics of the professional world. It includes real case studies and provides opportunities to meet high-profile professionals. Classroom training is participatory and engaging, allowing students to challenge themselves in an environment of intensive learning.

JUMP is endorsed by the Politecnico di Milano, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and Campus Bio-Medico. The latter two universities award university credits (CFU) to students who attend JUMP courses.

JUMP+: shaping the future

JUMP+ is a specialized training program for master’s degree students, structured over two years, offering residents modules focused on the professional world, CV preparation, job interviews, reflections on life and career choices, and the study of work–life balance.

Thanks to partnerships with international Business Schools such as IESE Business School, AESE Business School, Dublin City University Business School, and the association EUCA, modules are organized abroad on topics such as entrepreneurship, compassionate leadership, and employability. These experiences offer residents professional training, high-level meetings with figures from the world of business and institutions, and company visits within the setting of a European city.

#GreatGuests

The residence has always been committed to offering its students high-level cultural events, moments of dialogue with leading figures from politics, culture, and business, reflections on current issues, as well as opportunities for leisure and the chance to cultivate musical and artistic passions.

Prominent figures from cultural, entrepreneurial, and political spheres have taken turns within the walls of our Residence. By sharing their professional experience, they have helped enrich the students’ understanding of the professional world.

International network

An international atmosphere can be felt in the residence not only thanks to the presence of foreign students, but also through training opportunities in English and cultural trips to discover major European cities.

The Residence also provides contacts and exchange opportunities with various university colleges around the world that share the same principles and vision.

Fondazione Rui promotes many initiatives and international mobility activities by offering scholarships and financial support through its dedicated internationalization fund.
The JUMP+ modules – organized in collaboration with leading international Business Schools – together with the activities promoted by EUCA, the European University College Association, and the initiatives proposed by CCUM, the Conference of Meritorious Colleges, represent international educational opportunities of great cultural and academic value.

Fondazione Rui also offers the ChinaMed Business Program, a summer program organized in collaboration with Zhejiang University International Business School and ToChina Hub.
